And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. ~ anais nin

Emphasizing breath, mindfulness and self-nurturance, Beth creates a tranquil space full of possibility where students can stretch their boundaries of mind, body and soul.
at the beginning...
Beth's journey as a yogini began while lying in Savasana at the end of a yoga class in Washington DC. She experienced an internal shift, as a tightness unlocked and her heart felt free for the very first time. The spark was ignited and she knew that yoga would be a lifelong practice.
a move to Syracuse; a move to teach...
Her practice intensified upon moving to Syracuse from DC. So much so, that while contemplating her up-coming review at her office job, she realized that perhaps a promotion was not what she was looking for. Perhaps, she had been staring at the path she was meant to travel all along, but only now was open and receptive to seeing it clearly. So began the next phase of her life as student and teacher…
In the summer of 2009, Beth journeyed to the mountains of Spain, where she studied the history and evolution of yoga and how to adapt its teachings to a modern day lifestyle. Sanskrit, anatomy, meditation and several hours of asana practice were all a part of her daily routine. No computers, no TV, and sometimes even no electricity all added to embodying the lifestyle of a yogi ‐ nourishing the body, calming the mind, and strengthening the soul.
the journey continues…
Beth continues to train with a variety of workshops featuring teachers at the forefront of the yogic movement: Alanna Kaivalya, Seane Corn, Ana Forrest to name a few.
But teaching in and of itself has become the greatest teacher of all. Beth’s source of inspiration springs from her community of students, who are always evolving and rejuvenating their sense of self.
Above all else, she feels very blessed to be able to facilitate the journey of self-discovery in others!
